HandE-C — the electric mini loader that fits through the door

720 mm wide. Fits through the door. No exhaust.

The HandE-C is the enclosed-space machine — 720 mm across, about thirty millimetres under a standard doorway, and narrow enough for a passenger lift. There is no hydraulic system anywhere on it: the implements are electric too, driven through a powered hitch, which is exactly why it is this small and this quiet. Fully remote-controlled, so nobody is sitting on it breathing the dust. It carries, lifts, tips and cleans out the places a combustion machine is not welcome — poultry sheds, strip-outs, occupied buildings, food plants and tunnels.

  • Poultry sheds & intensive animal housing
  • Indoor strip-out & demolition clean-up
  • Occupied buildings — hospitals, aged care, schools
  • Food processing & washdown areas
  • Acreage & small properties
  • Tunnelling & underground
  • Hire fleets

How it’s configured

  • Bucket and forks — standardBoth included with the machine.
  • Bin, auger and 4-in-1 — optionalBuilt to order. Tell us what the job needs and we'll quote it.
  • Four battery packs — 12 kWhSwap tool-free. Charge overnight off a normal power point.
  • Wheels or tracks, non-marking tyre optionNon-marking matters indoors and in food plants — specify it at order.

Under the panels

A Powered Motion drivetrain, not a hydraulic circuit

HandE-C is driven by a Powered Motion reduction gearbox and direct-drive BLDC motors — around 10 kN of output with far fewer parts than a hydraulic system, and none of the hoses, fluid or leaks.

How it works

Get your hands on HandE-C

In Australia, HandE-C is retailed by our dealer Curly's Ag — head there to buy or ask about a deal. Anywhere else in the world, contact us directly and we'll sort you out — as a customer or a dealer.

* Eight hours is normal material handling — carrying, lifting, tipping, cleaning out. Heavy powered implements such as a mower or a flail mower draw several times as much and will not run a full day on one set of packs. Tell us the job and we will tell you straight what it will do.

The part nobody else has

Take the hydraulics out and everything gets better

Every other electric machine in this class is a battery driving a hydraulic pump. They electrified the engine and left the rest alone.

So they still carry the pump, the tank, the cooler and the oil — along with every hose and fitting that can weep it onto your floor. That is most of the reason they are 900 mm wide and will not fit through your door.

We took it out. All of it. The implements run on electricity, straight off the hitch. Nothing to leak on a shed floor. No oil to change, no filters to buy, no hoses to chafe through in three years. Hydraulics also throw away a good share of what you feed them as heat, which is why machines that use them need close to twice the battery to do less work.

And it is why this one is 720 mm. Narrow was not a target we chased — it is what is left once you delete the pump.

Fewer parts. Fewer things to go wrong. Nothing planned to maintain for five years.

Servicing and warranty

No planned maintenance for five years. Two-year warranty.

The five years is not a service plan — there is simply nothing on the schedule. No engine oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, coolant or belts, because there is no engine. No hydraulic oil or filters, because there is no hydraulic system. Bearings rather than bushes, so there is nothing to grease.

The only scheduled item at all is a gearbox oil change at high hours.

The two-year warranty is separate, and it is what is covered if something goes wrong. The five years is what the machine asks of you. Most machines get those two the other way around.

The maintenance claim excludes tyres, remote-control batteries, normal capacity fade in the traction batteries, damage, and the gearbox oil change.

If you have never run a machine

Nothing to start, nothing to stall, and you are not sitting on it

Plenty of people move onto a few acres and find the jobs are bigger than a wheelbarrow and the machines are more than they want to take on. A diesel loader is heavy, loud, hot, and it puts you on top of it on uneven ground.

This one you stand beside and drive with a remote. It starts with a switch. It cannot stall, there is no clutch and no gears, and if you let go it stops. You plug it in at night like a phone, and there is no servicing to remember or book in.

Move mulch, shift feed, carry fence posts, clean out a shed, tip a bin. The work gets done without you having to become a machinery person first.

Why electric, and why now

From 1 December, the air inside gets a hard limit

From 1 December 2026, Australia’s workplace exposure standards become legally enforceable workplace exposure limits. For the first time there is a national binding limit on diesel particulate matter — 0.01 mg/m³ of respirable elemental carbon — and the carbon monoxide limit tightens from 30 ppm to 20 ppm. The sectors named include indoor construction, tunnelling, mining, workshops, warehouses and freight depots.

The HandE-C has no engine and produces no exhaust, so it adds nothing to the contaminants those limits cover. That is the whole of the claim we will make for it.

What your own site has to do about those limits depends on your site — your ventilation, your other plant and what else is running in the same space. That is a conversation for your regulator or an occupational hygienist, not for a machinery builder. Model WHS laws are also adopted state by state, and some jurisdictions run their own frameworks.

What it replaces

Barrows, or a machine that cannot come inside

Remote demolition machines break things up — they do not cart the debris out. That half of the job is still done with wheelbarrows and petrol loaders parked at the door, and it is the half that fills the day.

The HandE-C is a carrier, not a breaker. It goes where the work is, takes the load out, and leaves nothing in the air behind it. At 720 mm it clears a standard doorway and fits a passenger lift, so an upper-floor strip-out or a shed run no longer needs a ramp, a crane or a crew with barrows.
